Kanona Safari Ranch is situated on the banks of the Kanona River, overlooking the Erongo Mountains west of Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. The ranch is approximately a 2 hour drive from Windhoek. A kaleidoscope of contrasts, impressions and surprises awaits visitors to this tranquil environment.

Kanona Safari Ranch specializes in rifle and bow hunting. On more than twelve thousand hectares (30 000 acres) of prime hunting area you will find species such as giraffe, kudu, gemsbuck - oryx, Hartman zebra, Burchell zebra, baboon, leopard, impala, springbuck, blesbuck, waterbuck, warthog, blue wildebeest, black wildebeest, lechwe, nyala, sable and eland roam freely on the ranch.

Kanona Safari Ranch is strategically located in an advantage position to favorable tourist destinations such as Swakopmund, Namibia’s premier holiday resort and the internationally known Etosha National Park.

Namibia has a dry climate typical of semi-desert country. Days are mostly warm while nights are generally cool.
